The University of Adelaide
Renowned for being Australia's third oldest university and one of the finest in the world. Flinders University
Flinders has built a strong reputation for quality and innovation in its courses and in its teaching. It was the first university in the world to have a bachelor course in nanotechnology, and the first in Australia to offer a graduate entry medical course.
Flinders staff have received a number of national awards for teaching excellence, including the Prime Minister’s Award for University Teacher of the Year in 2004 and 2006. In 2008 two members of staff became the first and only overseas recipients of a Senior Fellowship from the Higher Education Academy (UK), and in 2009 eight of our staff received ALTC Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning.
Flinders students come from over 100 countries and alumni have built careers and lives that benefit communities in South Australia, across the nation, to almost all corners of the world.
