Kangaroo Island Posted 22 May 2011 by Sandra from Austria
Topic - Adventure and travel in Australia

Hello travellers!

Last week I flew to Kingscote, Kangaroo Island and stayed there for 5 days. The weather was cold but not rainy, so I was happy. This island is just amazing!!!!! After a 1,5h drive or 20mins flight from Adelaide you will be in a whole new magical world. Kangaroo Island is Australia's third largest island, but you can drive around it in 1 day ;)

The optimal length for being there is about 3-5days I reckon. So what can you do:
Eucalyptus Oil Distillery, Honey Farm, Sheep Dairy Farm, Parndana Wildlife Park, Seal Bay, Pelican feeding (5pm in Kingscote daily), Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch, Willoughby Lighthouse, Little Sahara, Kelly Hill Caves and much more!

As you can see on this one island you can find diverse natural settings, such as sand dunes, drip stone caves, huge rocks, lagoons and so on. Have a look at the pics and then go and get your OWN EXPERIENCE!
