Around SA in 8 hours!!!

Another memorable day it was...not referring to the colourful parade on Australia Day or the action-packed Adelaide Fringe’s starter. It was a day’s tour of South Australia’s rich vistas from the North-East to the South-West of Adelaide. The orientation week for the new intakes at UCL Adelaide Campus was capped with a pleasure trip to the “highs” and “lows” of Adelaide.
The early morning showers of Friday the 25th of February did everything but dampen the spirits of every student on the bus as the day kicked off with a drive up the hills to Gorge Wildlife Park. It was a delight to see the Kangaroos, Koalas, and Kookaburras all in one place. More so for me having conceded that another long trip to the Flinders ranges would be a certainty to get such an opportunity. And guess what? That was just a starter. Driving through the scenic beauty of the Adelaide hills was more icing on the cake as we made way to the Mount Lofty lookout; the telescopic view of the Adelaide CBD and environs...certainly a sight to behold!
Again that’s not all, we headed southwards to the Wirra Wirra winery at Mclaren Vale for wine tasting - of course a tour is never complete without a new South Australian wine to excite the taste buds.;)). Finally, just when it was time to get wet at the Port Willunga beach the sun was smiling brightly J at us…you just couldn’t ask for any more in 8 hours.
Thinking about experiencing the sights and sounds of Oz?... short of enough time to have a long trip?...then one way is Tom’s Tours and explore so much in 8 hours!!
Cheers mates!! nbsto :D
