I just recently got back from a trip to the Big Apple, but lets leave that story for another time. The first thing that caught my attention before I boarded my flight from Sydney to San Francisco is that I saw someone carrying a studyadelaide bag. But mainly, my first friend here in Adelaide is now doing an internship in New York. It was great being able to catch up with her after not seeing her for over a year as she was only here for a semester on exchange. Having a friend there to do the most random things with like go see lady gaga at 4 am in the morning or walk around the streets at 10:30 pm looking for cupcakes is always fun, but knowing that I made this friend here at university was even more special. Its so true and great that all the international friends you make at your time here are there whenever and wherever your travels take you down the line.
